Mysterious Features on Ganymede
NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE
Jupiter's largest moon, Ganymede, shows a half-circle feature about 32 kilometers across. Such partial circles suggest that some resurfacing has occurred since the original impact. A dense, linear chain of craters also cuts across the top of this unusual terrain. These mysteries on Ganymede were captured by the Galileo spacecraft.
