Transit of Venus Stereogram
These two frames from the TRACE satellite show Venus gliding in front of the Sun during its 2004 transit. Arranged as a right/left stereogram, they create a stereo effect when viewed with crossed eyes. The silhouetted portion of Venus appears to float dramatically in front of the Sun, captured during the ingress phase of the transit.
