Phoenix Rises Toward Mars
NASA's Phoenix mission, launched last week, is on its way to Mars. It is set to land in May 2008 in an unexplored north polar region rich in water-ice. Phoenix will use its cameras, robotic arm, and chemistry laboratory to analyze the landing area. The mission aims to find clues about the history of ice and water on Mars, helping us understand if the planet could sustain life.
