Wisps Surrounding the Horsehead Nebula
The Horsehead Nebula, a famous dark indentation, is just one small part of a much larger cloud of gas and dust. Amateur astronomers captured this image using a hydrogen-alpha filter to highlight the red light from hydrogen.
