Running Messier's Marathon

COSMIC MESSAGE

Many stargazers in the northern hemisphere participate in a Messier Marathon, attempting to view all 110 objects in Charles Messier's catalog in one night. This six-hour time exposure shows a group dedicated to this task. The marathon is often held on moonless nights near the March equinox.
