Japan's Kounotori2 Supply Ship Approaches the Space Station
Japan's robotic Kounotori2 spacecraft delivered supplies to the International Space Station (ISS). It launched from Japan's Tanegashima Space Center and reached the ISS a little over a week later. This photo shows Kounotori2 approaching the ISS, about to be grappled by astronauts using the Canadarm2. The supply ship was then attached to the Harmony Module, bringing food and other necessities.
