NGC 6914 Nebulae

COSMIC MESSAGE
Six thousand light-years away in Cygnus, the NGC 6914 nebulae glow with the light of hot hydrogen and dust. Ultraviolet radiation from nearby hot, young stars causes the hydrogen to emit light. The blue regions are reflection nebulae, where starlight scatters off dust.
