Conjunctions near Dawn
Venus and Jupiter shine together in the pre-dawn sky, captured here over Buenos Aires. The Pleiades star cluster, along with the bright star Aldebaran, are also visible. Even though they are too dim for the unaided eye, the camera also recorded the dwarf planets Vesta and Ceres in the same field of view. This celestial alignment offers a beautiful view for early risers.
