COSMIC MESSAGE
The Space Shuttle Endeavour, riding piggyback on a 747, flew over Los Angeles for its final landing. This was the last time a space shuttle would touch down, completing its tour of California skies. The iconic shuttle and its chase planes were photographed near several of California's landmarks, including the Hollywood Sign.
