COSMIC MESSAGE
M7 is an open star cluster in the tail of Scorpius, visible to the naked eye in dark skies. It contains about 100 bright blue stars, is 200 million years old, and spans 25 light-years. The cluster is about 1000 light-years away and has been known since ancient times.
