COSMIC MESSAGE

This panoramic mosaic captures colorful aurora over Iceland, reflected in a crater lake. The northern lights were even brighter and more impressive than expected. The astrophotographer made a night-time run to the top of the caldera to capture this scene. This beautiful display happened two weeks before the photo was taken.
