The spiral galaxy NGC 3344 is seen face-on from our Milky Way. It is nearly 40,000 light-years across and lies 20 million light-years away in Leo Minor. This Hubble Space Telescope image captures details from near-infrared to ultraviolet wavelengths. The central region, about 15,000 light-years across, shows a color change from yellowish in the core to blue in the outer arms.
