On May 10, 2024, the Karkonosze Mountains in Poland witnessed a spectacular aurora, a sight rarely seen so far south. Purple and green colors lit up the night sky, a surprising spectacle that appeared over many mid-latitude locations around the Earth. This composite of six vertical exposures captures the unique event.
