Saturn by Three
The Hubble Space Telescope recorded these three views of Saturn on March 7, 2003. The southern hemisphere of Saturn was tilted at its maximum 27 degrees toward Earth. These false-color images combine filters from ultraviolet (top), visible (middle), and infrared (bottom) wavelengths, highlighting different features in Saturn's atmospheric bands and rings.
