Tonight is a good night to see meteors, as comet dust from the Perseid shower rains down on Earth. This composite image was taken during last year's Perseids from the Poloniny Dark Sky Park in Slovakia. The foreground shows a planetarium on the grounds of Kolonica Observatory, with meteor streaks appearing to radiate from a single point in the sky.
