COSMIC MESSAGE
NGC 3628 is an edge-on spiral galaxy, often called the Hamburger Galaxy. Its disk is divided by dark dust lanes. This image also shows a smaller satellite galaxy nearby, and a faint tidal tail stretching 300,000 light-years. NGC 3628 is part of a group of galaxies in the constellation Leo.
